Sarah Jessica Parker transfers 15 BTC ($750,000) from Coinbase Pro to Private Wallet to HODL

Known for her role in Sex and the City as Carrie, Sarah Jessica Parker is not only an exceptional actress and intellect, but also a cryptocurrency enthusiast. She told The Crypt Street Journal that she has been in the space as early as 2015. “I buy Bitcoin on every dip, and now I am more bullish than ever. So why not finally get my coins off an exchange?”

Wednesday afternoon, SJP shared with her fans that she had just transferred 15 Bitcoin from her Coinbase Pro account to a private Bitcoin wallet. She did not release which wallet platform she was using due to security risks, but did provide the link to the transaction on Blockchain explorer.

Parker is the first celebrity to use an actual cryptocurrency wallet, and transfer their coins off an exchange. Known for setting new trends in fashion and general lifestyle, Parker once again does the unbelievable. A movement from an exchange to a personal wallet signals not only confidence in crypto, but confidence in yourself.
