Zack Snyder’s Justice League was funded with Bitcoin and Litecoin

Late Thursday evening, Zack Snyder told everyone on a live Reddit AMA that his latest full length feature film Justice League was funded with Bitcoin and “a small stash” of Litecoin. Snyder told The Crypt Street Journal “I been hodling since 2017, and then bam, the 2021 bullrun got me like, ‘I have enough money for another movie for the fans!’ And yeah so that’s exactly what I did.”

Known for films such as Dawn of the Dead and The Watchmen, The Wizard is the first director and producer to fund a movie in straight Bitcoin. But Zack didn’t stop there. Snyder decided to only pay for things on set with Bitcoin. From stage props to cast members, everything was bought in bitcoin. Some of my cast members only held ZIL, MATIC, ANKR, and CRO, so we had to use Pancake Swap, Sushi Swap, Uniswap, or Shapeshift and convert their alts to Bitcoin. Zack said “At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what you hodl, as long as we are all using Cryptocurrency, it’s a win.”

This is just the start of a movement in Hollywood where actors and actresses are switching from regular fiat money to digital currency. Upcoming projects in 2021 with Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, and George Clooney have all stated that they will be funded in Bitcoin. In addition, all three have specifically agreed to only being paid in Bitcoin. The trend is catching the attention of new actors, actresses, models, media personalities, and non entertainment industry California residents all through the valley. Actresses such as Bella Thorne, Paris Hilton, and other huge celebrities have already mentioned their fascination with the Cryptocurrency and believe in the long term investment to “hodl.”

Achievement unlocked! What’s cooler than a future action film funded with future money? Talks about Spiderman 5, Mission Impossible 17, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 11, have all rumored with slight confirmation, that they will be funding their entire project with Bitcoin and “possibly ANKR.”
