Taylor Swift switches to Solana

As of 5:00AM EST on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, Taylor Swift has announced that she is “ditching” Ethereum and moving to Solana. She also added “I am just tired of paying those damn ETH gas fees!” That’s right folks. For all those swifties unfamiliar with cryptocurrency, the most famous pop singer known for Shake it Off, Blank Space, Look What You Made Me Do, and one of our favorites, Bad Blood, has officially dropped all her ETH hodlings and picked up SOL.

Solana has been making huge strides all year with the birth of the hottest NFTs on the Solana NFT Marketplace, and not to mention the super low price of gas fees, which is practically non existent. Everyone is talking about Solana. At the drive through at Wendy’s, in class at school, every university professor is making it part of their curriculum, and text books are being written about Solana. You can even hear your neighbor talking about it.

A recent Gallup poll showed that 95% of all Americans are familiar with Solana. Earlier this November, a couple in Seattle named their newborn Solana, making it the first American to be named after a cryptocurrency blockchain, and to be honest, probably one of the best. The couple stated that their daughter would be the fastest student in class because she is able to process high throughput algorithms while all of the other students would be stuck paying expensive gas fees.

Taylor Swift has always been very receptive to social norms so it is no surprise that she was quick to make the switch from Ethereum to Solana before the price soars to $5,000 by the end of the year, according to every investor who owns at least 100 Bitcoins or more. This isn’t just speculation either, Tom Draper has predicted the price to rise higher than that, with an expectation of 1/10th the price of Bitcoin.

At the end of the day Taylor Swift decided to hit up Bitcoin Miami in you guessed it, Miami. This event happens every Summer but is as volatile as Bitcoin. This year it falls on April 6-9, and includes some of the top speakers including Mark Cuban, Tim Draper, and of course every Content Creator at BitStars.
