Green Day enters Bitcoin and buys the dip

Early Monday morning around 9:00AM EST, the Pop Punk band Green Day purchased $1,000,000 worth of Bitcoin. The 35% correction experienced in the market, was a green flag to buy buy buy for the 1990’s band famous for hits such as Longview and Basket Case.

Billy Joe, the front man for Green Day told The Crypt Street Journal “Buy the fkn dip!” And that’s just what Billy, Tre, and Mike did. Green Day reported that they feel Tuesday will be a Green Day for cryptocurrency and that we should see nothing but green candles all the way until the end of the month.

The pandemic has hit the entertainment industry hard, and musicians have had to get creative. Cryptocurrency is the latest trend for artists, actors, and other entertainment creatives to enter for profit. “We are tired of eating Ramen noodles from 7-11. It’s time to make serious moves. It’s time to get rich off Bitcoin. Anyone not buying right now, is Dookie.”, said Tre from Green Day.
